I am a published author with 15 years experience that spans healthcare, retail business, NGO/NPOs and academia.

My career has taken me into various parts of Eastern Africa where I've been exposed to a myriad of ethnicities, cultural backgrounds and belief systems.

I draw on those experiences to understand your users.  My training in Optometry and experience in academia has taught me how to ask the right questions, and decipher what users mean vs what they say.

I got into UX while working on a project for my MBA. COVID-19 highlighted the need for UX within health-tech. Health tech is an industry that relies on high standards of UX design to ensure patient safety within AI and interoperable health care. ​
